A little unknown fact about me, I love poetry. I've collected it for years. When the chance presented itself for me to read and review this book, I jumped at the chance without any hesitation. I'm so glad I did. Chasers of The Light is a book full of beautifully words, artwork and photography. It's one of those books that I'm looking forward to sitting out on my shelf of go to books. You know the ones you grab when you need a little boost, or in search of a source of inspiration.I've been in a reading rut lately, and Tyler's book is exactly what I needed.Tyler's words are magical. They made me think, they made me feel the various emotions that each of his poems hold, and some of his poems touched me in a way I wasn't excepting. The other thing I loved, is that all the poems are typed (hence poems from the typewriter series). Long before there were computers, there were typewriters. Growing up I loved watching my mom type often on her typewriter. I loved her typewriter so much, that one year for Christmas when I was a kid I asked for one for Christmas. I don't remember what happened to it (it was a child size one), but I wished I still had it. I already had been on the hunt for an old typewriter, but now that I've read this book, I'm now more driven than ever to get one.I love the concept of typing up poems on a type writer. From note cards, library cards, receipts etc, there's nothing you can't sit and type out your thoughts, feelings, and inspirational thoughts on. Tyler proves that by the various forms of paper his poems are typed up on in his book. CHASERS OF THE LIGHT: POEMS FROM THE TYPEWRITER SERIES is one of those gems of a book that I'd definitely recommend picking up! It's not the typical YA book review you'd see here on Mundie Moms, but it's a great book that YA and adult readers will enjoy.

I would randomly scroll through my newsfeed on Facebook & would come across a poem written in the style of a type writer. I kept seeing more & more before I found out whom this wonderful writer was. I'm so glad I did bc I'm in love with his work. This book showcases the simplicity of how beautiful poetry can be. This book is full of some of the most moving & sensual,and often times,sexiest poems I've read in a long time. I felt everyone of his emotions on every single page. This is one of the best buys I've made in a long time. I'm so happy to own this.

I have fallen in love with Tyler Knott Gregson's poems after reading a bunch of them on the internet. I finally ordered the book to read more of his material. I flagged a bunch of pages/poems that made me think of my boyfriend so I can show him later - the depth of emotions he is able to convey are just unbelievable! I'm certainly not disappointed but I was hoping to find more of what I have seen/read on the internet because I wanted to be able to have some of those poems in my possession as well. I haven't read poetry in a long time (I do love to read, just prefer non-fiction) and found my self transported to another place for a bit while I read this.

Wow. I get so lost in this book. His words!!! I think every woman would appreciate a man who can express himself with words in such a way... Breathtaking. The cover is so, beautifully done as well. Looks great on display. Highly recommend!

Absolutely beautiful poems about love, relationships, life, & loss. He has a way of saying exactly what I'm feeling and i found a poem for every mood!

This book is a must have for any poet, and romantic at heart. I love the fact that most of the poems are written with a typewriter, and the words truly hit you in places that you never would've thought. Tyler Knott Gregson is truly a master at his art. There are very few places I go without this book, because I can always open it up and find a poem that truly speaks to my mood at that point in time. The small size makes it easy to hide in my purse of backpack, but the bright colors of the cover really are fitting to the book itself. I look forward to seeing much more from him in the future.

A true romantic, many of his poems are about love and longing and they make your heart ache for the depth at which he feels love. Not just for his romantic partners but for the human race in general. He sees and celebrates the often unseen moments in life that make living so precious. A book worth adding to your collection and leaving out for passerby and friends to discover.

I've read some of Tyler Knott's poems around the internet and have always loved them. I had no idea he had a book out and knew I had to buy it ASAP.'Chasers of the Light' is simply amazing. Tyler Knott has a way with words that makes me feel and connect. He writes about love, loss, courage, hope and so much more. I am in love with this book and its words.Just buy it. what a fabulous and heartwrenchingly beautiful sentiment and writing. I gave this to my stepson and his fiance as a gift to read to each other and keep their love kindled. It shows so much love for another. We read this in bookclub on a whim to do something different. We each picked a favorite poem and we each ended up in tears as we read ours aloud. Bravo and if you want to feel romance and love and depth of heart, buy it!
