Writing is basic. Art work style is rather simplistic and at times unproportional - more than just your standard yaoi. A lack of backgrounds, choppy dialogue, and extremely fast pacing make this feel pretty rushed. It's clear they just want to get to the character interaction and eventual fan service. 2/5. Points for having clean linework and attempting to draw emotion. Not the worst I've seen. Definitely nowhere near the best.
Made it through six so-called "vo!umes" and quit. The story is split by scenes, not complete story arcs. You pay 2.99 every 14-15 pages until it's over thirty bucks for what would maybe fill out one normal manga book. On top of that the art is hit and miss, the storyline underdeveloped, the characters ranging from flat to, in the case of the main, obnoxious. I don't know if the dialogue was poorly written or poorly translated, but it's bad. Plus the homophobia is way over the top even taking into account the differing attitudes inherent in Japanese social norms.
I've read a lot of Manga and WebComics over the years and I'd have to say that this falls into the latter category. That is to say, I noticed a lot of people being angry about the price as well as the cut of points. However, this is something that occurs more often than not in thousands of WebComics. Is it annoying? You bet! But if you read enough WebComics, you get used to having to wait weeks or even months for the next chapter or panel section. This work also seems like it is a good 'first work' with how empty the backgrounds can be but I find it refreshing not to be bombarded by all the usual flashy screen tones and shadings. No one can be good at drawing or representing everything in a scene and more often than not, money is a factor on if those things are included since most creators have to hire help with background scenes anyway. Hence the pricing. Also, having to pay, what? $2 for 14-15 panels? That's a steal! Try having to pay $6 a panel! Yes, this can be considered a lot of money to spend on a silly comic but if you take into account the work that went into it, it's worth it to pay a few dollars and support the creator so they can go on and create better works, or even revamp this work in the future. There's no reason to be bashing the creator or their work just because you don't have the money to spend on it or the ability to appreciate art. I thought this work was very well done and if you don't like it, that's fine. Go buy something else.
First problem is this single-use license. Because of a network hiccup during purchase the book was under the impression that it was already on another device; this is the only one I have registered on Kindle. While the fix was simple I shouldn't have to go to any effort to view content I've actually purchased.Technical issues aside the book itself was entirely unimpressive. I've seen better writing and art, and more compelling storylines on free webcomics. That's not a horrible thing itself, there are many good free webcomics out there, but this publication is fairly mediocre, more or less worth the buck and a quarter or so I paid for it.
It is hard to say since it is very short for one, but for a serial part 1, it makes me want to find out what happens next.
I think it would be good to combine books so you are not left with not understanding where things went.
It had such great cliche potential. Is it ok the money? Not as jumbled up as it is. If it was expanded upon, maybe, but as is, save your money.
