I love the concept of this book and the general format - mixing of additional information within the readings and exercises. But I've struggled to really connect with it. I'm not sure if it was just written for a different audience or someone at a different point in the journey of discovering their Divine Feminine, but if feels a bit 'young' in the approach. I also have some concerns about parts of the tone, which can come off very white-washed one-love feminism. This isn't to say that this isn't a great book for women and I would *definitely* recommend for some of the younger women in my life, it just may not be the right fit for myself.I'm a few chapters in and have pushed myself to keep going; I plan on continuing for another few chapters and will update then. It may just be that I haven't hit the gold yet!

I generally love the author, Emma Mildon and felt like this book held lots of beautiful little nuggets. However, I feel that her response on social media toward those who critiqued her book was uncalled for and disappointing. It is important to note that just because someone doesn't resonate with this book does not mean they are a negative person, nor does it mean they are unsupportive of women and the sisterhood as a whole.

I bought this book because I love goddess mythology and feminine archetype stuff, and it does contain some of that, but it's buried under such a thick mountain of poorly edited new-age buzzwords and meaningless catchphrases that it's almost impossible to extract the good stuff. I liked Emma Milton's last book, but this one reads like she wrote the whole thing on peyote (that would explain a lot, actually.) If Soul-Searcher's Handbook was about exploring and embracing "woo woo" stuff as a somewhat logical person... I would say since then she's not only drank every drop of the woo-woo koolaid (woo-laid?), she went and got downright sh**-faced on it.Which is all... whatever. She's clearly barking up the "Women Who Run with Wolves" tree (I couldn't make it all the way through that book, either.) But easily 50% of the sentences in this book ARE NOT SENTENCES. Either they're sentence fragments, or just...word soup. Example: "In between confronting demons and relaxing deep into her empowering truth- re-rooting herself to love and reconnecting to her purpose- gives her no patience for the tired and restless tormenting games of demons." Any editor should be catching stuff like that.This book is just... not good. Sorry, Emma. It had such great intentions and I wish the author would come on back down to earth and try it again, because it could be FASCINATING, but instead it's just... white-girl-in-a-sarong-faux-profound-fluff-feminism, and nearly unreadable to boot. I have to agree with one of the other reviewers- I'm not sure I even want to donate this book, I'm just going to recycle it.

Another beautiful book written by the Goddess herself, Emma Mildon. all the information you want to know about the divine feminine and goddess energy can be found here! I loved the exercises and quizzes that can be found in this bible. My moon is in Cancer so I had no doubt when I took this quiz I was going to be a “Moon Goddess” with water goddess close in second! Can’t wait to see what Emma does next, she is an amazing, inspiring and beautiful soul. So grateful for sharing this knowledge with us-a beautiful book!

As you delve deeper into this profound self-reflection you’re “forced”, in a positive manner, to face the type of human being you are & what type you wish to be. Will you transform into a selfless yet strong Goddess or will you continue the cycle of animosity & selfishness that only causes you heartache. Through this insightful author, we look dead in the eyes of our ego & pride in a candid & honest way. Be warned! Making these changes can lighten your heart & soul, mend fences, & become the catalyst for forward movement into a life well lived. 😊

This book is the first in years that has spoke straight to my soul. It invigorated and stirred me, and made me feel all fired up to step into my power. But it’s also grounding and reassuring. It’s amazing. The Goddess types are full of useable and applicable information and really got me thinking. But this book feels like so much more than that. It truly made me feel like my superpowers were being activated. I can’t recommend it highly enough.

I LOVE this book! I the first few pages in and I knew this was going to be a game changer for me. Only one other book has made it to that level for me. Emma takes on a massive subject and makes it approachable and useable in everyday life. Highly recommend if you are looking to learn how to either find your inner light or shine it brighter!!

I loved Emma Mildon’s first book, Soul Searchers Guide, but I love this one even more! Evolution of goddess is full of tips and tricks for unleashing your inner goddess. I love the quiz at the beginning and can’t wait to take it again in the future, the chapters breaking down your archetypes are so helpful for breaking everything down. Sometimes in books like these the words go right over my head, but Mildon brings light and laughter into every sentence.
